The new generation of the BTR5 portable headphone amplifier

The FiiO BTR15 is the new generation of the BTR5 portable headphone amplifier. The previous generation was very popular, not only with fans of the brand, but across the audio world. FiiO decided to make the next version even better than the original. The BTR15 offers essentially the same features as the previous model, but everything is a cut above. For example, the output power of the device itself, which for the new amplifier reaches 340mW (when using a balanced output). With this power output, the BTR15 is able to play most larger headphones with no problem, making it more suitable for use with a PC/laptop. Therefore, FiiO has implemented a manual switch in the device that allows you to switch between using it with a computer, pure wireless and connecting it to your phone. The converter is capable of full MQA and PCM decoding up to 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 quality. When connected via Bluetooth, you can also set the so-called PEQ, or Global Parametric Equalizer, on the amplifier. This is a unique feature developed by Fio that allows you to set various equalizer, gain and other device settings for all possible uses. The body is traditionally made of a combination of aluminum alloy and tempered glass. From the front, there is an OLED display on which you can adjust basic functions. On the underside are two headphone outputs, a 3.5mm unbalanced and a 4.4mm balanced output.
